For the Grill London restaurant project in Kaunas, we manufactured various handmade light fixtures from aged metal. The wall-mounted, hanging, and zone-specific lamps naturally blend into the industrial character of the interior.

LIGHT
The light here is layered, rather than simply filling the space. Wall lamps highlight the rhythm of the structure, suspended light points lower the scale to the table, and directional lighting helps separate the bar, dining, and passage areas. This keeps the restaurant lively and cozy at different times of the day.

SHAPING
Some of the light fixtures were made in collaboration with a blacksmith, preserving the natural character of aged metal and handmade details. The large, bubble-shaped lamps were designed as the main light accents of the space.

By day, the restaurant is filled with greenery, natural light, and an open industrial structure. After dark, the lighting takes center stage: tables become warm island focal points, the metal takes on a deeper tone, and the green surroundings stand out as a second layer of the interior. This is a space that does not close in the evening, but instead becomes more intimate.
