In the Huracán Coffee space at PC Europa, we manufactured a hanging illuminated island that defines the main coffee bar area. Here, light becomes a part of the architectural form itself.
In the Huracán Coffee space at PC Europa, we manufactured a hanging illuminated island that defines the main coffee bar area. Here, light becomes a part of the architectural form itself.
LIGHT
The pendant light hanging above the counter is shaped as several rotating bands of light on top of each other, whose shape echoes the cafe's name – a hurricane vortex. Next to it, simpler pendant lights are placed, which complement the overall light pattern above the seating areas. The light here acts as a spatial landmark, visible from afar in the shopping mall corridor.
