Monist SPA & Restaurant connects the hotel rooms, restaurant space, and SPA area. Here, light complements the architecture and materials—wood, stone, textiles, and dark metal details. While its intensity and character change across different spaces, the same calm, warm atmosphere remains.

LIGHT
In the restaurant and bar area, cone-shaped pendant lights are repeated above the sofa groups, creating a rhythm felt throughout the entire space. In the SPA pool hall, the lighting reverses this principle — points of light in the ceiling mimic a starry sky, while a round light object above the pool acts as a central accent in the dark, enclosed environment.

SHAPING
For the hotel rooms, we made handmade lamps from naturally rusted metal. The natural rusting process gives each of them a slightly different texture and shade. The understated shape of the lamps allows the material itself and its character to shine through.
