The former estate outbuilding today connects an art gallery and a living space. The preserved wooden structure and white surfaces become a calm backdrop for the artworks, while the lighting complements the architecture without overshadowing it.

LIGHT
Light works on two levels in the space: general, even illumination along the walls for the artworks, and individual accent spots and linear fixtures highlighting specific zones — the desk, the bathroom, the hallway. The skylight above the passageway lets in daylight, which mixes with the artificial light to create a colored reflection on the white brickwork as it gets dark outside.

ATMOSPHERE.
At dark, the glowing windows become a part of the building's architecture. Colored light changes its character and creates a subtle dialogue between the old manor environment, modern architecture, and art.
