In the HABITS Bakery project in Vilnius, the lighting complements the vivid architecture of the space and helps to separate its different zones. We implemented custom lighting solutions, integrated decorative and architectural lighting, and combined everything into a single control system.
In the HABITS Bakery project in Vilnius, the lighting complements the vivid architecture of the space and helps to separate its different zones. We implemented custom lighting solutions, integrated decorative and architectural lighting, and combined everything into a single control system.
LIGHT
The main light fixture—a flat, disc-shaped side lamp with a glowing border—is repeated throughout the space: above the bar counter, over the long communal table, and in the booths. Its ring changes hue from a cool blue to a warm amber, allowing the same object to adapt to both an intimate booth and an open bar area. The color flooding the concrete columns alters the mood of the entire room without changing the furniture or finishes.

We manufactured a luminaire integrated into the column, installed RGBWW and 2700–6500K LED lighting, and supplied Louis Poulsen luminaires and magnetic track systems. We integrated all solutions into a single DALI system with programmable lighting scenes.

ATMOSPHERE.
In the evening, Habits is visible from the street as a solid red glow through the arched windows. Inside, that same red softens into a single beam on the wall, a reflection on metal, or a ring of light over a table. The space changes in intensity, but retains its recognizable character.
