The lighting of La Papa Loca is created through light elements of different scales and characters. Large-format jute lamps, solid wood floor lamps, and other individually designed light fixtures become a natural part of the interior and help shape the warm atmosphere of the restaurant.

LIGHT
Hanging in the center of the space are woven pendant lights made of concentric rings and a radial structure—from below, they function as light sculptures rather than functional pendant fixtures. Alongside them, smaller ring-shaped lights with a layered, stepped form are used, creating an additional rhythm along the windows and the bar line.

For the project, we designed and manufactured large-format pendant lights, hand-woven from jute rope. We also produced solid wood floor lamps and other custom light fixtures tailored to the different spaces of the restaurant.

In places, the warm, woody tone is interrupted by a bright pink glow – an accent that briefly changes the mood of the entire hall.
